Just to keep everyone in the loop, please list what plan you're doing (if any), how long you've been doing said plan and how you're doing with it........

And just for fun, list your favorite of all the diets you've ever tried.................

Hi! My father's from Egypt too, btw. Born in Saqqara (know of it?), and raised in Cairo. Had to tell you that.

So, how much is the nutritionist? I'm a poor teacher.

Hey of course I know Saqqarah. It is almost in Cairo now. Cairo is expanding in all directions. It has to keep up with the growing population. Last count Cairo was over 15 million.

About the cost of the nutritionist, I pay 100 Egyptian Pounds a month (+50 more the first month). The month is 4 sessions. This is very hard to compare with USD. According to the exchange rate this is roughly 20 USD per month. But what I can buy with 1$ in Egypt, you can't buy with 1$ in the States. (ex. 1 liter of car fuel costs 1 EGP = 20 cents). This is getting very confusing huh?

I'm going back to calorie counting.Worked before and since I haven't been counting for a long time now,I know I've slipped back into eating more portions then I should.

Favorite diet? Probably wasn't a good diet, but I went on something called The Rotation Diet back in highschool...lost 4 to 5 lbs. in a week and I didn't feel hungry. The food wasn't always the greatest, but I felt stuffed!

Cairo is absorbing surrounding cities? What happens? Do they become mere counties, or can they remain cities even though they've been absorbed?

I understand. I've gone back to see family enough to understand relatively the value of US money over there. Sort of. Kinda. Of course, I haven't been home lately, but I will once the pot the US has stirred settles down a bit more. =)

Here, I bet it would be $20/hour, unless you went through your insurance company and visited a nutritionist at Kaiser, for example. It's something i should look into! I mean, 20 pounds in one month! Wow!
