A step in the right direction...
| Sun, 09-18-2005 - 6:45pm |
Well I have made a step in the right direction I do believe. I ate 2 meals today instead of one. I had 1 tsp of sugar in my coffee and only 1 cup at that!! My total calories today are 1441. Soooooo...... I guess I still have 59 calories for a snack tonight!! YEAH!!!!! I knew I could do this if I tried. Tomarrow I am going to aim for 3 meals. BTW the 2 meals were breakfast and dinner so I skipped lunch. Better than nothing. Things are starting to look up :)

Good job! And you managed a breakfast too? I always find it hard to eat breakfast and usually skip it, which I hear is not recommended.
Remember small steps do add up.

Great! That's how I started. I had 1600/week, and worked out three times for 30 minutes, and lost 12 after 28 days. So, 12 down, 131 to go! It's you and me. My starting weight (which I didn't have the courage to find out until tonight) was 298. Now, I'm 286. *blech*
So, what'cha doin' for work-outs? I do Curves four times a week now, three rotations, and will probably do my bike nightly for a while to speed things up a bit.
Well....(blushing) I havent gotten that far yet. I bought a workout video by richard simons the 80's one. Its on its way in the mail. When we move into our new house in October my mom is giving me a tredmill. So hopefully by the end of october I will have an exercise routine.

Hey girl, don't worry about not getting fully started with it yet. It took me a week to get my schedule in place, and even though I change it around a lot to keep from getting bored.
Don't forget strength training! Everyone says you need muscle, and I don't understand everything they tell me as to why, but the only thing of importance to me is that more muscle equals a higher metabolism. So, when you get your treadmill, don't forget to lift some weights, too! :)
