Just thought I would say hi and that I'm still lurking around here. Since I found out I was pg, my eating has stabilized, and I don't think I've gained too much more, although I'm scared to step on a scale. I had a quick u/s appointment today, and the nurse measured me at 6w3d and we saw the heartbeat!!! I just told Neil I was pregnant today (I wanted to see the heartbeat first due to a previous missed m/c). We haven't really gotten a chance to talk about it, that will come tonight :). I hope that everyone is doing well with their weight loss and I can't wait to join you again in getting this weight off!

Staci

Dont let any weight gain from pregnancy get your down. I weighed 250 when i got pregnant and i only gained 17 pounds with this pregnancy and can you believe that when i had my daughter and got out of the hospital i actually weighed 142...so pregnancy made me LOSE weight...it was a wonderful jump start. WIth my first child i gained 80...bummer.

LOL - you lost 108 pounds?? How big was the baby? ;-)Sorry, I couldn't resist, since I'm ALWAYS doing that too - accidentally writing my weight as "190" instead of "290" - with me I think it is subconscious wishful thinking ;-) Hope you don't mind my giggle - your innocent typo just tickled my funny bone today!

Now you would think that i would have caught that, as much as i read and reread what i write, must be wishful thinking all the way. ha ha ANYWAY. Suffice it to say i was 8 pounds less after i had the baby than i was when i got pregnant. :-)

Glad to hear you're doing OK Staci. This is wonderful news! Hearing the baby's heartbeat for the first time must have been special. Are you excited? Or still in the "what's happening" phase? Best of luck for a healthy pregnancy.
