I've seen you ladies talking about ordering their clothes, so I went to look at the website. Wow! Nice stuff, and I have SUCH a hard time finding plus sized clothing! I ordered several items, pressed the button...and discovered that they do NOT ship to Canada! Sent an email, and found out they have absolutely NO plans to do so at any time in the future. What a let down!

Nope, looks like Avenue doesn't ship to Canada either - you'd think with the lack of plus size clothing up here, we must all by skinny! Well, I'm telling you I've seen PLENTY of fat Canadians - it is our defense against the cold, LOL! I can't imagine where they are all getting their clothes from, and how much they must be paying!! The largest size I can find here is 24, and it's just a tad snug.

Try going to eBay alot of there sellers who sell bigger clothes ship to the USA and Canada. Thats where I got all my maternity clothes with my last pregnancy and where I get all my 5x clothes. Everything I buy are new with tags and most items I buy are under $30 some things I get are under $10!! You guys should check it out.

E-bay is a good idea...but sometimes something I love on the hanger doesn't flatter me. I did just buy some great bras from Lane Bryant though! They have the T-shape in the back and close in the front which is AWESOME. I have a hard time finding bras that don't slip down my shoulders but these are great.

I hear ya on the headache of finding clothes and undies that fit and don't look like you're wearing a big paper sack. I've been investigating both Ebay and some on-line catalogs that feature nice items for larger ladies. I'll be happy to let you guys know what I find out and what prices I wind up paying. I'll keep you "posted" ;)

I know this would be kind of a pain and little more expensive, but if you are desperate enough to find clothes you like and that fit well here's a suggestion... Do you have any friends who live in the States? Maybe even someone from the board who'd be willing to help you out. You could order your stuff, have it shipped to their house, and then they could ship it to you.

That's an idea! I have a few "playgroup" friends that I have known for 8 years - long enough for them to know I'm not a crazy, and be willing to give their address to me :-) Thanks for the idea - I really never even thought of it!
