I suggest that you start a journal down in the journal area.

Toshia, for me the hardest part of a diet is getting it actually started, once i get in the zone i am good to go, but that first week, before i see any progress...its a killer. Once i have a few weeks under my belt and the scale puts me on cloud nine, i swear i almost get a high from weighing and seeing good results. So just buckle down and do it for just a week and when you see those results and that feeling of accomplishment instead of shame and depression (which is what i ALWAYS feel when I am not dieting and exercising). It becomes a funnel effect. I eat and feel bad that i ate, so i eat more and feel worse...just getting worse and worse. When i finally stop and get control i feel better just knowing that i am doing good stuff for me body. So my advise is just buckle down and do it, when you see results it will come easier for you. Plus it only takes a week or so to shrink your stomach. I cant eat half of what i used to and when i do over eat i feel stuffed and uncomfortable, almost sick. I just dont like that full feeling like i used to.

Shawna, how do i get to the journal page. I didnt know there was a way to do that here. Its probably an ignorant silly question but i just havent explored Ivilliage's stuff yet. I like the idea of a journal on here though, especially one where i can get comments from others.
