Just curious. Do you all tell your dh or sig other what your weight is? My husband knows my goal and i tell him how much i lose each week, but i would never tell him my actual weight. I was just wondering if i was the only one.

me too! My poor DH is such a poor judge of weight that he is blissfully content to believe I'm about 200 pounds. In fact, he's even said "At least you don't weigh more than me! Then I'd really be worried!" and I DO weigh about 30 pounds more than him!

LOL - well I really CAN'T admit that I weight more than my husband, considering he has various nicknames such as "big Rick" and "The Mountain"! Anyway - I see that you and I are close to the same weight, but I must be shorter or carry it worse because I can't fit into a 22 - 24's sometimes fit, but sometimes are binding and look terrible - and unfortunately, 24 is the LARGEST size I can find here, so I've got some pretty ugly clothing! *sigh* - well, the weight is coming off, so hopefully I at least FIT in all my 24's soon.

My husband, best friend, and sister-in-law all know my heightest weight...my husband may know my current weight and my sister-in-law does know my current weight(she's just as big as I am,so I know hers too).

I could not ever tell my dh my real weight. I would be so ashamed. My sister and oldest daughter know and the girl at curves who weighed me when I joined but nobody else. Well except you all.......Stephanie 280/250/223 for now

I guess i COULD tell my husband but it would just kill me. I know what he says about the girls on "the biggest loser" and stuff like...for some reason, he doesnt see me as that big and he thinks nothing of making snide comments about the ones on the show (he has always been fit and very health conscience and he doesnt understand those that cant just "eat less and exercise")...if he knew i weighed MORE than most of them...it would just be beyond humiliating. I think when i weigh less than him i will tell him my weight but not until then. So as it is now the only people that know my weight are you guys, although my sister weighs about the same as me, so i am sure she has a good ballpark estimate of my weight...my dh is just clueless though.

Me and my DH are very close. It is just something, probably from childhood. My dad always made me feel ashamed about being "fat". I only recently admitted to my sister and daughter my weight. That is only cause we are all the same size, LOL. How could I lie!!
But honestly I love Bill and he loves me and in 22 years has never made any negitive remarks about my weight. I don't know why this is one thing I can't admit to him. Just a mental thing I guess. Stephanie

My mom's weight used to be a big deal in our family. We all knew that mom hated her weight and she wouldnt tell a soul her weight.
