I was actually thinking about this this morning but then Mary mentioned that she reached one of her mini goals.

I have a few:

1. Get back into my size 18 pants that I was wearing around this time last year. My 20s are big on me now so I think this isn’t too far away. I’m thinking probably in another 5-10 lbs or so for this one.

2. Get back down to my wedding weight of around 196-200. I want to accomplish this by the time the Christmas parties roll around. This means losing about 1.5 lbs a week, which would put me right there by mid December.

4. Fit into size 16 jeans so I have more options for shopping than Old Navy (although I’ll still shop there I’m sure since they are so affordable and I like to have a lot of clothes). Size 14 would be even better since a lot of stores don’t stock too many 16s. I’m guessing that size 16 would be around 185-190 and size 14 would be 170 maybe? It’s been so long I can’t remember!

5. Get down to 190 which is what I weighed the day I graduated from high school.

6. Get down to 170-175, my weight for most of high school.

7. To be 160 lbs, which I have never been at this height (5’7”). The last time I was 160 I was around 5’6”, so I don’t even know what I would look like!

8. After that, it’s the big (or little, I suppose) 150! I have no clue what size I would even be at this weight. A 10 maybe? Wow, that would be unreal!

Short term goal: Lose 20 pounds...i am only 1.5 pounds away from that one, so after that my next stg will be get back into the clothes that fit last winter.

Intermidiate term goal: Get back in my size 20 bluejeans (and able to sit down comfortably in them)or under 200 pounds....it kills me when they have to move that big weight at the doctors office...its nice for it to sit at 150 plus instead of having to bump it to the 200 plus or even worse, the 250 plus.

Long term goal: To be a healthy and athletic looking 145 pounds.

I was noticing though with people listing their size/weight. Mine seems to be different than most. When i weighed 193 i was in a size 20...and i am TALL 5' 10"...i guess where you carry your weight makes a big difference but it seems it would be the taller you are the smaller the size/weight, although i do carry about all of my weight in my belly. My arms are small, my legs are small, and i have no butt to speak of and no boobs either. SO i guess that makes ALL the difference. It was just interesting to note.

I think its all about where you carry it as well. I am pear shaped so if you looked at me from the waist up you'd think I was a size 16 or something. But my hips and butt are huge, so that's where the size 18 pants come in.

Yeah, i am also mix matched on my sizes, like i said with being 193 i was size 20 in blue jeans but i forgot about the fact that at weight 193 my shirts were a size 14 or 16 but if i wore a button down it had to be a 16-18 so it would not be strained at the bottom button when i sat down. I really think no matter how little i got i would still have a gut...i think to ever have a flat stomach i am going to have to have a tummy tuck to get this flabby skin off of me. Even at 195 i still couldnt tuck my shirt in...i still had a big roll at the bottom of my abdomen...just loose flab. Gross really.

I would like to fit back in my size 28 jeans. Hubby would like me to fit back into my 22's(said he liked my butt in them) :-) He also said I was more energetic in them.... and I don't mean cleaning.... :-O HeHeHe!!

With the ever growing population, the amount of thrown away goods increases daily. Why not give that unwanted item to someone who may be able to use it? We've all got things lying around we just don't use. That's where Freecycle comes in.

I was just thinking of posting this today, guess Shawna read my mind and beat me to it. I just came up with a new set of goals in the car today:

1. Wake up early and exercise. I'll be on the stationary bike at least 3 times a week. And this time I'm sticking to it!

2. Add strength training after 2 weeks

3. Zip up that jeans.

4. Look good in some of the blouses hanging in the closet. I can button them now, but they don't look good on me yet.

3. Get down to 198 (i.e. break the dreadful 200 mark).

My ultimate goal is to get to 165. That would put me in a size 10 (yeah I know it's weird). But there's a lot of intermediate goals till then.

Edited to say: I'm writing down this list and tapping it to the fridge next to the week's meal plan.
