Everything I have tried failed

I need to lose about 110-120 pounds. I am so uncomrotable. I used to wear a size 5-7 now I wear a size 18-20. I swore I would never let myself go. I guess I did. I don't want to make excuses. I take meds for severe depression, so that alone doesn't help. I stopped going to the gym. Now I am so tired all the time that I have to force myself to go. As I am writing this I am eating goldfish crackers. I buy them for the kids but I like them a lot. I know what to do and how to eat to lose the weight. It's just the motivation and the dedication to do it. 2 years ago I lost 30 pounds doing atkins. Now it's all back and then some. This doesn't help my depression either. I need help. I want to go to Weight Watchers but first I have to come up with the weekly amount. I feel like screaming!!!!

If you're friends with your blender, smoothies are great for breakfasts and snacks.Just have a variety of fruit on hand or in the freezer, yogurts, eggs, lowfat milk or powder, juices, protein powder, and so on The possibilities are endless.Yum

I did the Fat Flush Plan. Sounds horrible, I know...but it does a good job of changing how you think about food. I had a terrible time losing weight after I had my son. Nothing worked. I had gone from a size 6 to a size 18. After a month, I am down to a 16.
With the FFP, you start out removing alot of food you would normally eat...for two weeks. It seems like alot, but it goes by fast. You start with not much more than meats, unlimited veggies and 2 fruits/day. Then you add your regular food back in one at a time. This allows you to see if you have a problem with a specific food.
For example, my body does not react well with potatoes. However, it does not have a problem with orange chicken from Panda Express.
Even if you do not try the diet, I do suggest that you read the book. She has some ideas that are presented a little weird, but when you think about it, they actually make sense!
It is The Fat Flush Plan by Ann Louis Gittleman. I borrowed a copy from the library, but there is also a website, and an ivillage section.
www.fatflush.com or http://messageboards.ivillage.com/iv-fbfatflush.
I know everyone is into weight watchers, but I see it as another fad that, if you don't follow their program your whole life, the weight will come back. I am just working out, eating less, and taking the advice and rants of these women here to help me through this. It's going to be a long haul, but being with women who are doing this too makes me feel better. They also share all their victories and failures, and tell you why it happened. That helps a lot, too. Books and professionals who can only hypothesize don't really know.
Sorry if this sounded messy. Stay here! It will help you.
