I'm back from the stone age...

.... and my laptop is finally up and running.
I lost contact with the world for almost 10 days!!! And for a week now I've been totally off plan :( I weigh-in tomorrow and hope I didn't do much damage to myself. If I didn't gain I'll be happy.
I'm back on plan today and I have a new mini-goal. Actually this is rather a deadline. My SIL is getting engaged on 11/11 and I have to fit in a dress. I'll probably be hosting the party so I really need to look good. Wish me luck!!

Now your talking about me?!
Don't speak French or German...
I can speak Arabic, but I can't write it....
Hmmm...
Ana bahebi iVillage! ;-)
Oh, I don't really know them. I can sort of have limited conversations, but that's it.
I usually up my time with languages. I'd love to learn my father's language, but most schools that teach Arabic don't teach the Egyptian dialect -- the one I would want to learn. Oh well.
Taking classes is a good way of keeping myself away from the fridge, too. ;-)
I'm sure you do stuff I can't, Shawna! I can't cook, sew, drive without getting a ticket, add, subtract, multiply, or divide.... I can't put make-up on right, coordinate colors, do things in moderation -- just too long a list... *sigh*
LoL I'm right with you with cooking. I can never figure that one out. By the time I finish a salad, the kitchen looks like a war zone. sigh
Egyptian Arabic is my native language, so of course I know that. I can write Arabic, but nobody can read it LOL (I have the worse handwriting in the universe). But I write Arabic in English letters like you do. I can't write a good formal Arabic letter cuz all my education was in English.
And I know English.. and I was taught French at school starting grade 2, but I don't practice it that often so it's rusty. German I just know a few words cuz I work for a German company (Siemens) so I'm picking up a few things.
