I'm hoping I didn't set too hard of a goal for myself when I said 268-265 for me October 17th goal. I'm nervous. I almost don't even want to weigh in when I go to the gym. I want to exercise more than I need to to make sure the scale says what I'd like it to say. Ugh. I have been eating 200 calories less per day, and have been going to the gym 4 times versus 3. I am also going to work-out at home this weekend before weighing in on Monday. I'm just very nervous.
I haven't been weighed in over a week. for all I know, I did lose, but I'm holding out until the 17th so as to get as many days as possible under my belt before W-Day. I don't know why I have such anxiety over this. I thought mini-goals were good! Arg! LOL
Oh well. Any advice?

I set mini-goals with time frames, but the time frames are flexible. Cuz you don't know when you can plateau and when you can lose very quickly. Mini-goals are supposed to be there to make you feel your accomplishments, but they should not stress you out like this.
Try this: your goal is to be as close to 268 as you possible can by October 17. If you don't slack until October 17 and you reach.. say 275, then you are at your goal.
You cannot predict how your body will respond cuz your body is not a calculator. Be more flexible with the dates. As long as you're doing your best and as long as the scale is not going up, then you're on the right track.

By the way, I haven't lost anything in 3 weeks although I am doing everything right. But I expect to start losing again soon.
Yeah, that's true. They made me weigh in because they said they were curious, but they said to wait until the 17th because I'm on my period. Begs the question as to why I was weighed ahead of time, and on my period, when they acknowledge they have to do it again on Monday, anyway. WTF?
I'm glad I lost some, but I'm still hoping I can lose another 1-2 before Monday! Four pounds in two weeks... I hope I have some water weight....
