hi i am missy and i live in texas. i have 4 kids. 2 boys and 2 girls. all under 9. i weigh 280. i have very low self esteem and want to lose 130 pounds. i am looking for help and support. i also think i can give a lot of encouragement to a lot of people. i started walking 15 minutes everyday. i am going to do this for a week and then move it up 5 minutes every week until i can walk an hour a day. i have stopped snacking after supper and i only drink water starting today. well i hope to talk to you all soon and i wish you all the luck.

My weight is similar to yours, i am at 273 down from 295...it seems like i will never get there but we can do it. I want to get to about 140, i am 5' 10" and when you think about the total weight i need to lose it is frustrating but dont let it get overwhelming. I lost 100 pounds before so i know it can be done, and i certainly know that if i can do it, anyone can do it. I LOVE to cook as a hobby and I love to eat...bad mix for someone who is this overweight. But when you are feeling like you just cant do it...here's my little pearl of wisdom for the day (i know i say this all the time but) "I may not be able to lose 100 pounds but i can lose 10 pounds 10 times"...when you think about it that way, its not so bad.
