Mary, age 52, Northern California.
1. What plan are you currently following?
Sharla, 35 years old exactly today, North Carolina
1. What plan are you currently following?Weight watchers
2. What plans have you tried previously and which do you honestly think is the best?
Jenny Craig, Nutra system, Sugar busters, weight watchers, south beach. I don't like Jenny Craig or nutra system because they didn't teach me how to eat well. They did all the work for me. As for the others I think Sugar Busters and south beach have too much fat in them, but they are over all good programs. The best one depends on the person and what they can stick with.
3. What are the two weirdest things on your desk right now?a bottle of tacky glue and some pencils for stamping
4. Are you with the one? If not, why? yes
5. What color is your hair and is it straight or curly?
straight brown
Hi. I'm new here, but I tend to be a lurker, so I'm going to jump in with both feet.
Jera, 27, Louisiana (252/252/150)
1. What plan are you currently following? Thinking about Sugarbusters, but not really committed yet.
2. What plans have you tried previously and which do you honestly think is the best? I've tried Atkins and Sugarbusters. Atkins had great results for me, but was way too restrictive. Sugarbusters was better.
3. What are the two weirdest things on your desk right now? toy car and baby lotion
4. Are you with the one? If not, why? Yes.
5. What color is your hair and is it straight or curly? blonde and stick straight

1. What plan are you currently following?
>>>> Tailored plan from my doctor/nutritionist.
2. What plans have you tried previously and which do you honestly think is the best?
>>>> Calorie counting mainly and my own plans. Tried a "chemical diet" which I do not recommend at all. I lost massive weight in a very short time and gained it all back in a shorter time. The best is what I'm doing now. Sensible eating and a lot of calorie shifting.
3. What are the two weirdest things on your desk right now?
>>>> Apart from the laptop, telephone and two calenders, there is nothing on my desk right now.
4. Are you with the one? If not, why?
>>>> Yes Yes Yes
5. What color is your hair and is it straight or curly?
>>>> dark brown with a natural wave.
I live on the Northern California Coast.
Plan I am currently following: I am drinking as much water as I can stand and am trying to eat healthier.
Plans I have tried: I've tried Jenny Craig, The cabbage soup diet, grapefruit diet, Weight Watchers, and a bunch of others that I can't recall right now. Out of all of these, I think Weight Watchers works the best for me because it promotes eating regular food and a healthy lifestyle change instead of a temporary fix for a life-long problem.
The 2 weirdest things on my desk right now: A dangling fish made out of a CD and some colored foam pieces, and me.
Am I with the one?: If you are referring to my husband, then yes. Technically, not really, cuz he's at work and I'm here, but you get the drift.
My hair: Short (hate that), straight (hate that too), and dark red. I used to have blond hair that was down to my waist, but I had a bout of temporary insanity last March and chopped it all off and dyed it red. It only took a week for me to regret THAT decision.:) I would love to have curly hair, but mine won't take to a perm. :P
I think that covers all the questions for Roll Call.

1. What plan are you currently following?
-Counting calories (between 1200 and 1500 a day), exercise at least 30 min a day, 5-6 times a week. Weights 4 times a week.
2. What plans have you tried previously and which do you honestly think is the best?
-Tried slim fast, couldn’t do it forever. Calorie counting is much easier and I can stick with it forever since I don’t have any off-limits foods, just moderation.
3. What are the two weirdest things on your desk right now?
-Hmm, nothing too weird. A lint roller and a cat calendar I suppose.
4. Are you with the one? If not, why?
-Absolutely :)
5. What color is your hair and is it straight or curly?
-Dark brown, not super curly but more curly than wavy. Depends how I style it.
Hi All
Stephanie From Indiana. Married, 2 kids. When I was pregnant with my first kid over 8 years ago I gained 100 pounds and I have been struggling with losing weight ever since. Highest I got was around 270, that was over 2 years ago, got down to the 240's and have been stuck here ever since. Lowest I ever was was 195 back in '99 but gained it all back plus more.
274/246/140
Currently counting calories. Try not to go over 1500. Plus some exercise, dont do it as much as I should.
I have tried Atkins, WW, South Beach, 3 Day diet, eDiets, and some others. Plus I have tried all kinds of pills and such. Never really found anything that worked well. Calorad got be down below 200 but its expensive.
The 2 weirdest things on my desk right now are an empty coffee can with nuts and screws in it and a picture of me and Screech.
I am married and i think he is the one sometimes and other times he's an ass. So not sure.
I have brown hair, long and thick and wavy. I hate it. LOL

2. What plans have you tried previously and which do you honestly think is the best? Atkins and WW. Right now Ww seems like it's the best to me, but I just started South Beach (not by choice) so we'll give it a bit.
3. What are the two weirdest things on your desk right now? My desk is pretty clear, but I could name about fifty weird things on my boyfriends desk.
