The holiday season will start soon and you know what this usually means.. our weight loss plans take a nap.

Or will it?

Do you dread the holidays? Or do you think you're better equipped to deal with it this year?

Let's share advice and offer support to get through the holidays with as little damage as possible (or no damage at all!!). We can also share recipes, decoration ideas, and fun stories. And if you're stressed out, feel free to vent.

What do you think, is it too early to start this post or shall we go ahead?

No I don't think it is too early to post this thread.

I am going to eat the holiday meal...but smaller servings of the carb foods cause they make me gain weight.

I fixing this year so...I will be in controll over what we eat and how it is prepared.

This year I am going to scale back the whole holiday. Smaller turkey only 2 pies instead of 6. Etc etc etc.....

My problem is that I start eating since we start thinking about decorations and I continue eating till the last cake disappears from the house. So it's rather a 1 month event LOL. I really have to make a plan this year. Lots of support will be needed. It was very hard to break the 220's and I do not want to see that number again.
