I never did any strength training before. My weight loss rate started to decrease and I have to add excercise. Cardio is no problem, but while I'm at it, I figured I can also start strength training. That and the scary post about lose skin LOL.
So.. any advice for a beginner? I am not joining a gym, I will do my own home routine, maybe even buy a couple of dumbbells. Does anybody know what should be the workout?

Homecoming week! I was supervising the freshman class on Sunday, Monday, Thursday, and Friday until 10 pm all last week. It was really hard. Then, I had to deal with hen like women tearing apart what another teacher and I had done (I hate working with women -- some of these teachers are indirect, petty, mindless, self-centered idiots ).
So, I ate chocolate all last week (dark chocolate chips, measured the calories), ate out twice (checked calories), and only lost 2 pounds instead of more. It's not too bad, but with a week like that where I was never home, I was eating out a lot. Sucked.
How was your week? :)

I think you did a great job last week. Even when you ate out and ate chocolate, you were smart about your choices. That's something I can't ever seam to do.
My week was weird. It started really good for 2 days, then really bad for a few days, then I went back on track and I've been doing good for a couple of days. I also lost 2 lbs this week. Which is weird for me cuz I haven't lost in a couple of weeks and I was doing super good. But I know that my body takes a looooong while to catch up. It's frustrating, but I have nothing to do.
