I actually do a sort of water challenge for myself once a week. I pick one day a week and add 8 additional ounces of water to my daily water goal on that day.
I've been doing these things to help me reach my daily water intake: 1. Try drinking a glass of water before every meal. 2. Drink a glass of water every time you get the urge to snack. Often times, you'll find that you were actually thirsty, not hungry. 3. If you don't much care for water, try the new flavored waters they have out. Propel's not too bad, but I prefer Sam's Choice (Wal-Mart brand) sparkling water in kiwi strawberry flavor or black cherry are my favorites. 4. Keep a tall glass of water next to you at your computer desk. You'll find that a few sips here and there are a lot easier to deal with than trying to drink all your water at one sitting.
I've not been very good at getting my water in (I would much rather have juice or a diet soda), but starting today, I will give it a go...about how much do ya think we should we aim for...enough to flood the stalls at our local Wal-mart? ;)
I'm up for the challenge...I've been slacking on my water intake lately and would like to bump it up again...just tell me what we're doing and I'll do it!!
I think your supposed to drink 10-12 glasses (8oz. each) of water per day. Its important because it keeps us hydrated, and helps to flush out water weight from your system. So drink up!
I am definitely in. I usually aim at 96oz but have been slacking a lot lately and substituting with diet soda. OK, what about each one sets her own goal and we log our daily consumption here. If you meet your goal, you get 1 point for the day.
