Has anyone here heard of zig zagging your calories for more weight loss?
I do the zig zagging thing all the time. I am on a 1,300 calories diet, this means if I average the whole week, it gets to 1,300. For example:
Day 1: 1,100
Day 2: 1,400
Day 3: 1,200
Day 4: 1,500
Day 5: 1,100
Day 6: 1,400
Day 7: 1,600
So, in a week that averages around 1,300.
Also if you hit a plateau, try to obtain your calories from different sources. For example, if you eat 1200 mainly from chicken, vegetables & pasta, try to beans & cheese for example.
I think 1 week of not losing couldn't technically be considered a plateau. Sometimes I get stuck for a whole month. That's a plateau!
