I can understand the privacy concerns, but I think it may be a good thing. Obviously, as you can tell from my username, I'm a nurse, and the number of noncompliant diabetics we see is unreal. For most people, diabetes can be very well controlled but patients have to be very disciplined.
Then again, if a diabetic is so noncompliant as to warrant a phone call from their doctor, I don't think a phone call would make that much of a difference. I like the idea but I think the privacy end will prevail in this case.
I beleive that the government is getting far to involved in our lives. If I were diabetic it would be no ones business but my own. Whats next? Call all fat people when they eat a cookie or candy bar??? Welcome to communism. All our rights are disappearing. Stephanie
