Hi, I am new, but not new. I used to come on Ivillage's Trying to Concieve boards, but I stopped about six or so months ago. But anyways, I'm new to this board. I'm 22 years old, been married for all most 2 years. I have gained about 50 plus pounds since I got married, and am starting to get serious about losing weight. I'm starting at 250, I all ready lost 7 pounds!! Yay for me! Currently I am not doing a paticular diet, just trying to make healthy decisions. I may start a diet eventually, I have the 6 week body makeover, but didn't want to sit down and try to figure it out. (Is anyone doing that?) I am also working out 15 minutes a day, with this program called Yourself Fitness. I love it! I wish I could work out longer, but I am SO out of shape. I have only been doing it since monday, so I hope eventually to work up to 30 minutes. Sometimes I do 15 minutes at night, which equals out to be 30 minutes total. But, I am proud of myself for losing what I have so far.
Hopefully I can get some friends, and support on here, to take me to my goal!!!

Welcome! I am also new, just joining the boards this week. It's pretty quiet around here but I am sure that will pick up as the new year starts!
Sounds like you are off to a great start! Keep it up! I understand about the exercising..I can only make it on the treadmill about 20 minutes before I get too tired/winded. But every little bit helps. I think I tried the 6 week body makeover (is that where you are one type of body shape and they tell you what to eat??) If that's it, then I tried it, and it worked for me but was too restrictive to keep up. I'm just trying to make better decisions and overall eat less and exercise more and it will come off, eventually.

If I didn't say welcome earlier let me do so now....it has been slow here but it will pick up...when that happens you will have to check in two times a day just to keep up with all the posting!
