I used to come here a long time ago. I need help!

I am now getting closer to 300lbs. I am totally hating life right now. I know what I gotta do, eat less and exercise. I've been trying to get a handle on my appetite, but I can't seem to do it. I lost 70lbs from counting calories and exercising like mad, only to gain them back.

i know, discipline is the only answer, but how? It's so hard when all those pesky little fat cells are begging to be fed!

I guess I just need to vent.

Hi Cherry, just wanted to say welcome. I know what you mean! I gained back like 3 pounds over the weekend, because I get to feeling like I am starving. Weekends are SO hard for me. I can do okay during the week, mostly because I have to eat what's in the house, which is mostly healthy food. But weekends my husband likes to take me out to eat! Its so hard to change eating habits, and I also hate having to watch everything little thing I eat. I am not expecting to much from myself during Christmas. I am going to try hard to lose the weight, but I also am trying to take all the changes slow, so I don't burn myself out. Good luck though. We are pretty close to the same weight, so if you ever need anyone to talk to or vent to =) I'm here for ya! Good luck!

Hi Cherry--

Welcome back! I just got here a few weeks ago, and I've loved checking the boazds daily. I don't have any great advice other than just to try it one day at a time. Eventually, one day at a time will stretch into a bunch of days together, and things will get easier. Hang in there.

Nah, it's not hard. You're making it hard, and setting yourself up for failure. Do it the easy way. Don't stress about eating or not eating. Just accept a couple opportunities per day to have a light meal. You'll know you're being smart, and it will soon show. Save your stressing for things that are difficult.
