Stomach!!!!!

I had a couple xrays and other things of the sort done on my stomach area last week... i was in the hospital with chest pains (which turned out to be some sort of rib constriction..) and they did a bunch of tests to see what it was. When they showed me the pictures of my stomach that they took, i was totally freaked out: my stomach is actually really really small. I always thought that it was my stomach, as an organ, was the huge problem, and that there was a maybe 80:20 stomach to fat ratio (which is obviously not true) This makes sense now because i cant eat much anymore, so it makes sense that my stomach is smaller... But that means that almost EVERYTHING on my stomach is fat fat FAT!!! So many inches of fat!
I need a good program to raise core temperature and burn fat, but the problem is I have a problem with my hip and can't do a heck of a lot of standing/bending/lifting. And running is completely out as an option. Any suggestions as to what kind of excersizes I can do to get rid of this ungodly FAT???

Water. Get in the water. Water aerobics is the best thing for taking weight off of joints. It was way awesome when I was last pregnant. You get support from the water, a great workout and the water provides 10 lbs. resistence to you...great for toning. But don't take my word for it...I'm no doc.
