I tried really hard not to overeat this Christmas...and I did good. But I fell in the area of sweets...I usually don't like sweets...I just had a lot of it shoved in my face.

Also, I went to a lot of dinner parties where the hostess' were chocoholics and demanded I try a little of everything...I even got a little sick of all the sweets! Ugh! the thought of eating anything sweet right now turns stomach.

In any case I am where I started at 314! But the good thing is that I didn't go over!

Aw, that's ok. Gee this is the hardest time of the year to be good. At least your not depressed! That's good. Depression makes you eat more. Trust me, I know.

I'd like to be below anything 200 too! I am a stress eater too. So I refuse to stress out about it. I am getting back on the stick. I plan to start exerciseing again...

Sussie, I did the exact same thing. Was very good, but ruined it all on sweets. But I'm a chocoholic, so I REALLY went overboard. Actually I'm eating chocolate right now. I don't know how much damage I did. I have a weigh-in appointment in a couple of hours. We'll see how it goes.

Good Luck on your weigh in...but I guess by now it is too late. Let me know the results.

I weigh in every morning cause it helps me keep the food out of my mouth. I weighed in this morning at 313.0 so I lost a whole pound! WWWooowwwhhhooo.

In any case I am already back on the wagon and starving...right this second...when I eat any sugar I get really hungry...I am going now to the kitchen to see what I can have by the way of proten...that always stops the hunger for me.

Don't give up!! It's okay to give out, so start new tomorrow!! Not because of the new year, but because the timing is right for you. You have to get mentally ready before anything else first. You're doing great and keep moving forward!!

I need motivation to get my workout routine started!! If you have any words of wisdom it would be great!!

I gained 4 pounds YIKES!! I'm getting back on track starting today too. I already had a good breakfast and packed some fruit for lunch. We're having dinner at my mom's today, so I'll call her now and tell her what to prepare for me.

Congrats on the 1 pound down. I think that when we get back on track fast, we can lose the extra weight very quickly.. well I hope so anyways...

Great! Exercise is good! But ease into it. I get a bit too "gung-ho" and usually end up hurting something! I've learned to just enjoy walking a couple of miles a day.
