One more suggestion for you . . .if you go to the gym, try the crosstrainer. I burn more calories on it than the treadmill and there isn't any impact. Here's the catch - you will probably feel like you and your thighs will die in the first 5 minutes. The burn does subside after that, so don't give up. When you are ready to take it up a notch, try doing it in reverse. It works the backs of your legs instead of the front. I tried it today for the first time and REALLY felt it.
