Well I Decided on WW for my WOE

I am going to stick to the WW plan to continue this struggle.

I thought about it and I do like the ability to eat fruit and bread and something a little sweet every now and then. (I was an Atkins Kid at one time)

I also think that I have been eating too much fat. Just like I know that a count of 15 carbs makes me gain weight I think I need to learn how much fat intake is also slowing me down.

I too have started back on WW this week. With everything out there I still think it is the healthiest and best plan. I have journaled each day since Saturday and have stayed close to my points range. I haven't gone over my extra points so I consider that success! I've got the water in each day. I must admit though that I lose points with exercise. Haven't got it done this week. I weigh Saturday.

Can you do WW at home without meetings?
I don't have a lot of choices here and little
money to spend of gyms and exercise classes
or meetings and such.

good for you! I did atkins for a long time, and love the change that ww offered when i started it, i was like not really being on a diet, after so many off and on years w/ no carbs, lol. but i didn't see the quick results w/ ww that you see w/ atkins, and i thinnk thats why i couldn't stick with it. right now i'm just trying to change my eating habit all together, for instance, this week i will not skip meals, even breakfast, (which by the way eating breakfast made me less hungry at lunch and dinner!) and once i get really good at not skipping (which is a big change for me) i'm gonna make another comittment to go with it, like eat a veggie or fruit with each meal, or something like that. but i did notice that with no skipping meals, i've been less hungry, and eaten less each meal, and lost a few lbs, so maybe it will work for me. of course my "big plan" is acompanied by 2 days a week to the gym, so i'll let you know how it goes, lol

i did ww at home just by following the plan, which i did not buy, bummed from a friend who was no longer using it. as far as working out, you dont need to spend a lot of money, check out tv listings for times when work out shows are on, or get a dvd or tape that looks fun to you (my old fav was tae bo, but i just got a cardio dance dvd ($15) that is like hip hop dance, and salsa, and it's fun) you dont have to spend a ton, just be committed! good luck

Yeah,I like the dance ones that are fun.
We just got a DVD player, but before that
it was hard to find places that even sold
VHS tapes of anything.Just like it's hard
to find cassettes of songs to play on the
tape player in my car.Sure helps on the
long drives 250 miles one way to meet my
DH and there is no radio reception in the
mountains.(Or bathrooms!)

i couldn't do 250 mile w/ no bathroom! I'd really have to work on my "pee-on-a-tree" methods, last time i tried, i was 15, camping, and pissed all over my foot, than had to go back to the campsite, where the guy i totaly had a crush on was there (our parents were friends), i literaly jumped in the lake, clothes, and pee-d on sneakers and all, to keep him from noticing! lol. although, if i had thought of the result before jumping in the lake with my white tank top on, i proably would have come up with a better plan. (this was pre-fat days, i was a hottie than, so i'm sure he got a thrill from it! lol)
