Hi everyone,I joined this group last week.
I hope you are all doing well on your weight loss journey.
What I learnt this week....
1) Reducing my carbs and increasing my protein makes me feel better and gives me energy
2) Marking my water bottles (4) daily keeps on track so I actually did drink my 4 bottles of water every day this week!
3) Every little choice I make to care for my physical body is a good thing because I am so worth it
4) The Lord is faithful and He has given me such desire to actually STOP and THINK about my food CHOICES everyday.
5) This morning for worship service, I fit into my new jeans that I brought back in November that I could not even sit in with. This morning to my surprise I ate breakfast then got dressed for church and I decided to put on my jeans, just to see. They fit on my waist so that I could actually sit in them for the service. Yeck I even danced in them today! Praise God. I dressed it up with one of my new tops and so my friend Kim commented on how I was starting to look like I was losing, did I. I was so happy to tell her that I fit into these new fancy jeans this morning!!

I know I have a long way to go to go from 250 lbs to 150 lbs. Having a hundred lbs to lose seems huge but my God is faithful.

Have a WONDERFUL blessed Sunday and dont ever give up. Keep pressing on!!!!

Just awful...

I am not following a diet at all! But I do resolve to do so...I have started stretching to get me to start doing something towards exercising. I am not eating 3 meals a day just mostly one or two...and neither are breakfast.

I know what I need to do...and I am going to do it. I guess I haven't been doing good because I am so stressed out with buying this new home. Tomorrow we sign the mortgage contracts.

Then I have to start studying for my Real Estate Test....but life goes on.

I have been visiting this board for about a week. I think I am doing something wrong because I cannot see any of the new posts and i am not sure how to do that!!
I dont know if it is because I am doing something wrong,..or if the board is just not active as I remember the old board was years ago. Not sure, regardless I pop in from time to time.

I emailed the cl on the board but there could be something wrong in the way I emailed! I know know. If someone knows how to see all the new posts from the cl and others and it is not too techy (computer challenged I am!) please let me know.

If you would like to email me and send me your journals (food) I would do my best to respond.

My only concern is that I would rather email with someone who does not feel the need to
use profanity. So there you have it. You are probably not the profanity type but I am a straight up kind of person so I hope you can appreciate my honesty.

Other than that....journal away.
I would be honoured to encourage you and vice versa

When I read your post, I was laughing because I felt the same way when I weighed myself. On January 1, I got up the courage to get on the scale and it read 210! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! I was sick. I was like, "Wow, how did I let THAT happen? I have to lose 100 pounds!"

And then I got real. I found the summer pictures of myself at 160. 160 and working out EVERY DAY pictures. I thought, hey, I don't look like pixie, but I look healthy. And I felt good then and I was happy.

So, shoot for 160 and see where it goes from there.
