Ate so bad, yesterday and today.....

Maybe its because I am on the rag! I dunno. But, I ate way to much yesterday, and today I'm not doing so great either. But, I am trying not to beat myself up to bad. Because I didn't eat as BAD as I could, PLUS I wanted to give myself a little break from being so cautious. Does anyone else do that? Or do you eat healthy 24/7? Is this going to totally screw up what I did this last week? I hope not. But if it does, then I will just have to try harder! TIA!!

i usually give myself one day as a reward for being so good throughout the week. I don't go crazy. If there was a cookie that I wanted so badly...I let myself have it on my reward day. It gives me something to work toward and I don't feel so bad about the reward. With that said, I completely blew this past week. I wasn't exercising as much as I should and I ate things throughtout the week that I KNOW I should not have eaten. Oh well. I derailed myself...but it's time to get back on track. There is no time to be discouraged. Tomorrow is another day.

til next time,

Hugs Tami,

One or two days do not undo the progress you've made so far.

Nobody can be perfect 24/7!! Lol if it were then there certainly wouldn't be a diet or exercise commercial every other commercial on tv, just opposite the fast food commercials! Every eating plan has to have some room for treats or you won't be able to maintain it. You will gain weight during your period but it will go away. Definately don't beat yourself up and it won't screw everything up as long as you don't let it be an excuse to keep trying!

Good luck,

Don't beat yourself up. I usually have 1 free meal every week where I can eat anything I want. Mind you that’s one meal and not the whole day cuz if I allow a whole day, I’ll pig out and ruin everything and it will be so hard for me to get back on track. (And yes I can eat a surplus of 3,500 in one day and maybe more, so it's one meal for me). It offers a good change in the monotony of things and you don't feel deprived. Besides, it's something that I can do for the rest of my life. Well, maybe in maintenance it can be 2 meals instead of 1.. we'll see..
