Does anyone else experience a little pain while exercising? Last week, I did pretty good. My shins hurt a bit, but nothing like today!!! My right shin was hurting SOOOO bad, but I can deal with that. But my left achilles tendon hurts. And its REALLY painful! I'm just wondering if its because I have so much weight on my ankles......I guess tomorrow I will try to take some medicine before I exercise......

From my own experience I speak! And not knowing anything about your physical state right now or medical history.

Take it slow. Allow your body to rest today if you exercised (walked) yesterday.

Wear proper running shoes, even if that means purchasing a good one (look for sales).

Stretching exercises are key before and after, especially after when your muscles are warm.

Dont over do it.

My own saying to myself at the gym is 'Rome was not built in a day' as I feel my belly!!
LOL

Dont be discouraged.
Just take care of yourself.

After suffering from a lot of shin pain, I found I am an "over pronator" which means my feet tend to roll in when I walk (or run). This movement of rolling in exerts a lot of stress on the shins. The pain would be unbearable. There was a simple fix: motion control work out shoes. They are called "motion control" or "stabilizing". A decent pain of shoes can make all the difference. Good shoes and stretching your shin muscles before you work out. Look at shoes you have worn for a while, if the inside heel is worn down, you are over pronating. This is maybe why you are having shin pain.
