Hi I am new here i am trying to loose weight again I have had severe problems with it Before i was 18 I had a I guess you would call it I dont know I use to eat maybe 2 ritz crackers a week so i was sick and only weighed in at 70 pounds then i got pregnant and gained 180 pounds in a sort 6 months then i had my son and never lost the weight and put on another 5 pounds I am so unhappy with myself and i am concerned because i look at my family and they are all very obese and their health is poor so i want to loose between 70-100 lbs by July so any ideas out there would be appreciated.

Good luck on your weight loss journey. You will find that drinking plenty of water, down sizing portions, and exercising will help you make your goal.

I gained all my weight during my pregnancy. I'm 26 now with 1 son (almost 2 yo). I tried to lose weight after the baby and I was so discouraged because no matter what I did, I didn't lose a lot of weight fast enough. I was also angry at myself and the way I look. But last year I decided I will not give up. I just continued with what I did. I replaced the soda with diet, drank more water, added more greens to my diet, decreased the number of take outs, etc. And I didn't quit no matter how stubborn that scale was. I know my body loses weight very slowly and I have to live with this. All I need to do is not give up.
Cheer up.. it's so doable.. it just needs some commitment and support.. and you'll find lots of motivation and support here.. please join us and post often.

Welcome aboard! Just remember that each day is a new chance to do what is healthy and right for you. If you mess up one day, wake up the next and start again. Taking small steps can lead to a lot of success before you know it. Good luck!
