my highest weight was 342 , am currently at 317, would like to get down to 200 lbs by the time i turn 35 (may 2007)...

right now, iºm just trying to control my portions and eat a little something every 3 hrs or so..

i have a 2 yr old DD and a 7 month old DS, and i had my tubes tied so i know i am DONE having kids.. now i just gotta get fit so i can keep up with them..

I'm Staci. I've been around here for about a year now. I lost 40 lbs last year, gained about 15 back, then got pregnant. I'm currently 5 months pregnant. Not trying to lose, but have been trying to monitor my intake of fruits/veggies/dairy, so hopefully after the baby comes it won't be hard to get back in diet mode. I'm really hoping I won't have as far to go after the baby comes as I had before. I started last year at 275. Got pregnant at around 250, and am up about 10-12 lbs so far. My hope is to not weigh more than 275 when the baby is born, which should put me back around 250-255 pretty quickly.

Edited to add: I have to be in a wedding with 4 "skinny" girls in October, only 4 months after I give birth...eeek! Plus, I am recently engaged (DF proposed on Christmas Eve---completely totally unexpected) and have to plan on fitting into a wedding dress someday.

Mary here.. been around for about 6 months.

I'm trying to eat better and lately been trying to add exercise. (Lately here is a very loose term LOL). I lose weight very slowly and plateau a lot, but I'm getting there eventually.

Hi, I'm new here...well only been here a couple of weeks so far. But, my name is ANN and I'm 35 and a SAHM to two boys, a teenager and an 18 month old. I don't have a specific plan, but I'm trying to make healthy lifestyle changes and do it gradually enough that I don't feel overwhelmed. So far, I have stopped eating anything after 7PM, started eating breakfast, drinking more water, eating in moderation...no binging, and have also been trying to be more active. RESULT: After two weeks, I've lost 8 lbs. (was 10 but gained back 2 over this past weekend.) :-/ I set an initial goal of getting below 200, then hopefully I can set a new goal.

Good luck to all of you wonderful women and although I may not get a chance to post some days, I still lurk long enough to try to catch up. :-)
