I mean when you know what you're supposed to do, but you aren't really trying... I just eat whatever is there.. don't exercise.. and just drift. I am not doing damage (I hope), it's not like I eat junk every day, it's just that I'm not focused.
I really need to start journaling again. I want to start counting calories again (thanks for the boost Staci). I just need to see this in black & white and make a commitment.

Hey girl,
come on, get motivated again... I know it is not easy, like I'm a really really slow looser, but I'm sticking to my calorie counting plan... maybe I reduce my intake some. Anyway... Here is a really cool program, that will help you. www.fitday.com It is free and you can sign up online. You can put in how much you eat, it will calculate your protein, fat, carbs, calories and you can keep a journal and whatever...I have the downloaded version, after I have been using the online version for years (not regularly, of course, or I'd be skinny).
Get yourself motivated again. You always have think, hey, I'm worth it... and just think how proud your husband will be of you, when you loose more weight.
Big hug and support to you.
Doris
Glad to be of assistance :). I think you are doing great, sticking with this for so long and adding exercise. I know I have the same problems when I lose weight with getting stuck. I get to a happier weight and stop really trying. I go from eating out once a week to three times a week or more. I stop really counting calories, although I usually try to monitor to make sure I don't gain. I stick at the same weight for a few months until something motivates me to do better. That happened to me last year. I started in April, lost quite a bit by July, then got lazy for a month or so. What motivated me to get back on track was my upcoming birthday in September and then Christmas (which is DF's birthday). I made a goal to be a certain weight by my birthday, and then quite a bit smaller by his birthday. Well, that didn't happen since I ended up preggo, but I was back on track for a couple weeks, until I discovered I was pregnant. I know we aren't doing this for anyone but ourselves, but what really kept me going when I didn't feel like it was having an outfit that I really wanted to look and feel good in that I could wear for DF. Just seeing that look in his eyes when I had on my special dress on our anniversary made me want to see it again and again. Do you have a favorite outfit that kind of fits but you really want to look better in? Why don't you pull that out, try it on, even take a pic in it, and decide how much you need to lose to get into it. If you don't have one that will fit within 10-20 lbs, I would go buy a pair of jeans or a dress that fit way too tight and make it my goal to get into that. I know you live in Egypt, so I don't know what shopping's like over there, but around here there's so much stuff on clearance right now I could easily find a new outfit for next to nothing. Good luck with getting back on track and let us know if you need a good swift kick in the you know what!

Hi Mary,
I fully understand what you are going through.
Thank you all for your support... I'm starting to pick myself up again and following all your suggestions.. I find it easier to reply to everyone on this post.
I started journaling again!
Doris & Carolyn: I already have a fitday account.. I haven't used it in ages and I started again. I was suspecting I'm eating to much.. I tell you I don't like the numbers I see, but I'm doing something about it.
Laura: I'll give you my contacts! It'll be great meeting you. I'll show you around and we'll have a great time... I promise!
Staci: I have PLENTY of stuff in my wardrobe going all the way down to size 8 (!) I followed your suggestion before and it motivated me to zip up a pair of jeans before. I think my next motivation will be to actually breath in the jeans LOL. But I'll look at a sexy outfit too.. this should be a bigger motivation :) No need for that kick yet.. I'm getting my act back together :)
Krissy: I bought myself a treat yesterday.. a cook book.. I am getting really excited about it. I am starting to find a passion in cooking. I don't cook very often, but when I do, I really enjoy it. The weird thing is I never eat what I cook, so this shouldn't be a problem with weight loss.
Penny: Thanks for the post... I had company twice last month and I know what you mean. I even hosted my SIL's engagement party and 60 people showed up instead of the planned 30.. but with me, it's only a stress problem, not an eating problem cuz I never eat what I cook. I only cook for others.. and I eat what my mom cooks for me.. I know how weird this sounds... I have a full length mirror too.. I hate my lower half, but I am seeing improvements.. so this should be motivation to continue, right?
Shawna: thanks for delurking.. I'm glad to see you're on your way and found motivation again.
Ok I'm done rambling

Glad to see you're getting back on track! Breathing in them is definitely a good goal for those jeans of yours :). One thing that's keeping me focused on healthy eating this pregnancy is that darn wedding I have to be in, but also I want to be able to wear my "sexy" dress on our anniversary in July again this year. I don't think it'll be too difficult to do as long as I stay with eating healthy and gaining a healthy ampunt of weight. If I only end up at 275 on delivery day, I hope that getting to 240 in 2 months hopefully won't be too hard with the immediate loss of 10-15 lbs from the baby and then breastfeeding. I'm really hoping that I won't even be 275 on delivery day because that would mean gaining another 15 lbs in 15 weeks, and I've only been gaining about 1 lb every 4 weeks.
