walk with me?

hi, I just thought I would check in. Don't know where I am getting the will power or the determination, but I have managed to make it through three weeks of my healthy new ways.

I am down 15lbs, I am thrilled , but it hasn't come easy. I have been walking EVERY morning, rain, cold , or shine. Today it is raining here in ohio, so I did 35 min on the treadmill.

I am starting to feel better, but yesterday for some unknown reason, I was starving!!!. Someone once told me, that when you feel the hunger pangs, badly, that is when your body is losing, has anyone else heard this??? Then how come I wasn't down this A. M.?

My husband and daughter were very supportive in getting me ready for this new lifestyle. They took me shopping, bought me an MP3 player, and they both downloaded my music for me to walk by.I think my husband is abit surprised that I am really doing this. Just hope I can keep it up.

I have never been one to enjoy exercise, so hopefully I will keep up the walking.

Have a great weekend,

Holly

Good for you!!!!!

Keep up the good work!

I must say that I have never heard that before...

Remember, even though your husband and daughter will reap the benefits of your new healthy you, you have to do this for yourself.

Congratulations and GOOD LUCK!!!!

It is great that you have such strong willpower to keep walking.. and the reward of losing 15 lbs must feel great!! It is great when you see the rewards of what you're doing.

I am still walking/cycling 2-3 times a week.. so I'm meeting my goals for now.. I will increase that when I feel comfortable with it. I don't want to overdo it and then get burned out and stop altogether.. did that many times before..

So.. how does it feel walking with the new music??
