I am so embarassed. I keep having to "start over" I come to the site a few times and then it's like I know I am not gonna do it and I give up. I know what to do -- eat less (not crazy less but LESS) and exercise more (or at least some ) -- I have an entire extra person now. Why did I do this to myself? It's to the point where I don't look like "me" at all anymore.
This time has to be different. I have a journal- I am going to make a contract for myself today. 1- journal food honestly. 2-work on caloric intake (goal 1600 for now) 3- move everyday and journal type and amount of time I move 4-take time for prayer and for self daily 5- make a schedule (so I make appointments for things on this list that need them)
I can't be on-line everyday but I am not going to disappear. And if I do feel free to nag me! (iamwright@sbcglobal.net)

Don't be embarrassed, at least you are starting over and not giving up. I have been trying to eat less and exercise more since January 3rd. I initially lost 10 lbs, then re-gained almost half of it back (over one weekend!) then lost what i gained, then gained 4 lbs back, now lost that and am back to a weight loss of 10 lbs. I am so down on myself, and here it is the weekend again....sigh. I'll be out of town on a family trip tomorrow and I know that will mean food, food, food.
Sorry to blab so much about myself on your post, but I do want to wish you the best of luck and if I don't see you around, I'll email you! ;-) You can email me through my profile if I'm not here or anytime you need some support.
Hang in there, and I'm here to support you. :-)

so what? start over as many times as you like.. the important thing is that you're trying again and not giving up completely..
I think a journal is a very good idea.. I restarted my journal again last week and it made a huge difference.. and even if you can't commit to all the 5 items on your plan, don't feel bad.. do what you can and keep going..
I wanted to lose weight since Jan 2005, for 6 months I kept "started over" until I finally stuck with it.. it's been 7 months now and I lost over 30lbs.. I only started adding exercise last month cuz I couldn't commit to it earlier (although it was in my "plan" from the start)..
Good luck.. I'll email you if I don't see you around :)
