Hi everyone, just thought I would share my recent weigh in. I am down 20lbs this morning, Hooray!!! I did this in just 4 weeks, so for anyone out there who is feeling like it can't be done, I am proof that it can.

I do admit it has been a trmendous amount of hard work, tons of willpower, and much dicipline, though the time has really gone by much faster than I thought.

If anyone wants to know what my routine has been, just ask, I'll be glad to share any tips, or suggestions .

I'm even going out this weekend for dinner with my husband and daughter, we will celebrate my success, and Valentine's day with a healthy choice. Yes they are out there!!!

Have a great weekend girls,

Holly

Hi,

I am basically doing the OLD Weight Watchers program. I am just keeping track of calories, and also watching my fat intake. I am eating between 1200 and 1300 calories a day, and I try to only take in approximately 20-25 grams of fat a day.

I start out EVERY morning the same. I have 1 pouch of any flavor of oatmeal. just the instant kind. I find it really helps keep me fuled for the entire morning. I also have a big cup of tea, with a little milk and sugar, or sometimes a coffee with international delight, the fat free vanilla.

I have been walking EVERY morning for 3 weeks now, even Sat, and Sun. My daughters bus picks her up at 7:10 am, so I go and get my gear on, and I get on the treadmill with my music, and I am done just before 8am.I am walking for 35 min. The first week I could only do 20 min, and was only walking 1 mile, now I am up to 35 min, and am walking 2.5 miles. And I feel great, my knees aren't even sore like they used to be.

This works very well for me, I love it when I see the clock, and it is only 8am, and I have already done my exercise for the day, and then I have the rest of the day to do whatever I want.

I was walking outside the first week, but we have too much snow now, and it is too cold, so the treadmill it is!!!!

For lunch I have a really big salad. EVERYDAY, I have lots of low calorie veggies, tomatos, cucumbers, shredded red cabbage, I use a low fat ranch dressing, didn't like the NO FAT, and everyone needs some fat in their diet.

I also have a carb, either a small pita, or a whole grain english muffin with some protein. I buy those little packets of tuna or salmon, they are in water, and are a 3oz serving, just right, to this I add some fat free miracle whip, 2-3 tbsp. Sometimes I make egg salad, using 1 whole egg, and 1 or 2 more of the egg white .

Later in the afternoon I have a snack, either a yogurt, or 4 oz of cottage cheese with pineapple. I heard dairy is good to remove belly fat, I think that is correct, it seems to be working.

Supper I eat pretty normal, just measure your portions, again watch calories, and fat. I make pork chops, chicken, meat loaf, roast beef, etc, I just only have 4oz of whatever, and I make sure it is lean.

I have either rice, a small potato, or pasta, only 1 cup, and I don't use any butter, only light margerine, very sparingly. I also have a vegetable with EVERY dinner.

For a snack at night I have a small 100 calorie bag of kettle corn, or I have 20 fat free pringle potato chips, or I have a small 5oz fat free puding with some cool whip free.

This is my secret to success, I hope it will help you, good luck

holly

P S. I don't really drink all that much water, I know I should but I just don't, so the water thing for me isn't the real deal.
