Bored and eating...

Ugh...I have been so mindlessly eating the past few days it isn't even funny. Saturday and Sunday were the worst, and today I've had to fight the urge to just eat, eat, eat and I don't know why. I understand why the weekends at home are hard for me, and it doesn't bother me that much when I eat more than usual on the weekends because I still haven't really been gaining and I'm 6 months now. But, it usually stops when I go back to work on Monday, and I've been here since 8 a.m. and the urge is still there. Aye, aye, aye. I want to go eat just because I want to eat...I am totally not hungry. In fact, I usually get stuffed within a couple bites of something. I really wouldn't be too concerned, except the stuff I am wanting to eat is replacing my normal veggies and fruits and I really want to make sure I get all the right stuff for the baby. And brownies with Milky Way caramel pieces and ice cream on top or au gratin potatoes with a huge steak are not the ways to get the right stuff in :). Ok, done complaining now, just had to find something to do to keep me from heating up some pizza or some other junk. I just ate 2 hours ago and just had an orange to snack on.

That is okay Staci, I want an oreo blast so bad I can taste it but my dh won't let me have it, mind you it has nothing to do with diet the reason he said I couldn't have it but because he knows I will get to coughing and that is the last thing I need right now. Steroids and weight loss do not go hand in hand, I can gurantee you that. I get cravings just like I am pg, and moody too.
If it makes you feel any better I craved stuff like that at the end of my last pregnancy too and I ate it too, and still lost weight the whole time and had a healthy baby. With my first one, I lived off of chocolate, krystals, and pizza, and she is the healthiest of all 3 of mine, and the healthiest eater too. LOL Go figure> BTW I was 17 when I had her so you will have to forgive my diet...LOL!!! It was all I could keep down if I managed to keep that down!!
Oh well I hope you survive this last trimester with you sanity intact. Good luck to ya.

Maybe you're just craving something.. if you are, just have it and get it out of your system. And try to keep yourself busy, maybe you're just thinking too much about food. If you want I can send you some of my work :)

I hope you're doing better today

Well, if I'm craving something, I hvae no clue what it is :). If I really want something< I do usually get it, but I haven't had too many strong cravings. Oh yeah, and yesterday, I did about twice the amount of work I usually do in my normal time...did not help one bit, so thanks, but no thanks on the extra work :). Oh well, I'm just going to go with it for a couple days and get it out of my system. Maybe the baby's had a growth spurt or something. We had a 3D u/s done today, and the tech got a really good picture of her foot...and it measured 5.7 cm...isn't that really big for a baby that's not even due for 3 more months?? I have a feeling she's going to be a very big little baby.

I find it helpful to keep junk out of the house. If it's not there, I can't eat it!
