Today, focus on having a healthy lunch. If you're at home, skip the junk and prepare something tasty. If you're at work, skip the vending machine / take out and have something healthy.


I already packed black beans & lettuce in a pita pocket. Can't wait till lunch time.


So, what will you have for lunch?

I'm having pasta and meat sauce. The pasta is whole grain with extra vitamins (omega-3's and stuff), and instead of using ground beef, I used ground turkey.

Yummy! :-)

BTW, I've been thinking about trying peta bread with hummus (sp?). Has anyone ever tried hummus? Is it yummy or scary?

I had a lowfat version of tuna salad on wheat with lots of lettuce and an apple. It was good!

I have tried hummus and it is good. It makes a great veggie dip.

Is a sandwich out of honey wheat bread considered healthy? If so I may be able to pull todays lunch off, I will have an apple with it too...LOL!!!

I totally bombed it for the day. OOPS. I had a hamburger and fries. I have to do better tomorrow. :-(
