Since everyone seems to have listed most of the "good" reasons, I'll be a bit shallow!
8. To be able to buy clothes off the rack in the "normal" part of a store. Man does it suck when you see all the cute clearance tops and skirts/pants at Dillard's for $3-5 and can't get them because they don't fit!
9. To get healthy before I get pregnant. 10. So I can buy the small "cute" clothes. 11. To be able to go hiking, swimming, ect. with my family and not get winded! 12. To feel better about Me. 13. To got to my high school reunion, and let them see the real me.
Got a few more... this is one "number goal" I can see progress on quickly!
14. To sit in a chair without mentally gauging whether it's strong enough, the arms are too close together, or it has enough room between the chair and table.
15. Okay, I'll admit it-- for my guy, to whom this is important out of concern for my health and also for his ego. (Have to be careful not to sabotage myself, though, when I'm p*ssed at him...)
16. To be a better candidate if I decide to change jobs (bad week!).
17. To improve (or do away) with my snoring, which is disrupting my sleep.
18: To be steadier on my feet in snowy/icy weather.
19. To flip my dentist out. He's seen me e-x-p-a-n-d-i-n-g over the years, and is very nice, but holistic in philosophy (slight undercurrent of "you're not taking proper care of yourself"). And with 6 months between visits, he should see a noticeable difference.
20. *** Overshare warning *** My gyn tells me weight loss might improve my heavy periods!
21. Back to the chair thing: to be able to stand up easily from those low sofas.
23. So I won't knock things over with my stomach/boobs/butt 24. For my heart 25. For all my old clothes, rings, and necklaces that don't fit anymore 26. So people don't use my stomach as an occasional table 27. Because it's not possible to be 100lbs overweight and healthy 28. To prove I can.

3. To help ensure I'll be there for my family.
Ah!
4. No more achy knees.
5. So getting dressed will be FUN again!
6. To get away from subtle discrimination against the "fluffy".
