Hi Everyone!

I'm 26 and have over 100 lbs to lose.I decided that today is the day After many months of just procrastinating I finally got fed up and I'm tierd of carrying all this excessive weight around my body.I was wondering if anybody had any tips for a newbie...I stopped drinking sodas and coffee over a month ago, which has helped, and I also went and bought a treadmill and a few light weights last night. Any Advice is Welcomed!...Thanks and have a Wonderful day :)

Welcome to the board greykitty.. and congratulations on the steps you have taken so far. Quitting soda is a big step! And establishing an exercise program will really help too.
What are you planning when it comes to exercise? My opinion is that if you haven't exercised before, then you should start slow and build up with time. I joined Curves. Like you, I have over 100 pounds to lose. I never stuck to any execise program, except for Curves. I joined a few months ago and I love it!!!!! My mother-in-law lost around 75 pounds going to Curves. I can be a little expensive if you're short on cash. It costs almost $100 to start, then $29 a month (if you choose atomatic check drafting). But, for me it's been worth it. I haven't lost any weight, but I've gained a lot of muscle and my clothes are looser. My problem is that I need to work on my eating habits. I hope this helps.
