Hi Ladies;

I just found on I have to make a business trip to Kansas City next week. I'll be in a hotel room without a fridge or microwave so bringing anything from home is basically out of the question. I have a very meger food allowance with this company $15 per day.
breakfast isn't a problem, it's provided by the hotel and there are some heathly options.

keeping in mind that I don't really like vegetables (i'm working on it), does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do for lunch and dinner so I don't completely blow it next week?

thanks in advance :)

I would try and find something that doesn't need a fridge like granola bars (I like all-bran 130 cal and 5 g fiber), slimfast bars, fruit, ect. If you want something that just needs to stay cold you can get the hot/cold bags at the supermarket. I got one and took stuff to Florida and just put ice in the bag to help keep the food in it cold, I was there for 4 days and the food stayed good. That way you can have bagels and cream cheese, sandwiches ect. I hope this helps, let me know if you have any more questions.

my husband travels a lot and we usually send v8 & meal bars with him. Also, he generally eats subway while he is gone. Wendy's also has the value menu that you can get chili, a side salad, or a baked potato for 99 each. We usually end up making money on his trips
