You want to know what feels really good...
Which those semi-skinny who only have to lose 20 or 30 pounds won't understand. I am so used to when I enter a room, always choosing the largest seat available, a couch preferably. Well I today I went to see my therepist (I suffer from anxiety attacks as well) and I went to go sit on the couch, and stop myself and instead go and sit in the skinny rockking chair! I fit! Gosh that felt good!
Oh and I can sit on the floor and touch my toes, I havent' been able to do that since probably the 5th grade!
It's these little things that keep me motivated. They make me feel so good.

Way to go! That's so cool... the small stuff really make a HUGE difference. I remember the first time I was able to tie my shoes without holding my breath, I was dancing with joy!
Way to go! Love that you pushed yourself and realized that you're a "rocking chair girl" now...

Congratulations on your new self. I know what you mean about trying to find a SAFE place to sit. I use to always worry when I would be at someones home and they would ask me to sit, I would usually feel very uncomfortable, and was scared I would break their chair?
And don't even think about fitting in an airline seat, at least not comfortably anyway.
But that is not going to happen, not anymore!!!

I am so happy for you! You are so right. There are so many other ways to gage your weight lose besides the scale.
I too noticed that I can fit in an office chair now without my sides spilling over. I can buckle my seat belt without tugging it around my flesh. I can walk up stairs without my knee SCREAMING from the pain. My undergarments don't cut into my flesh!
