I had a great week starting last wednesday. I started my physiotherapy, I've been walking everywhere, the library, friends places, restaurants(I just got out of a wheelchair after 3 years of being unable to walk). I made a bunch of charts: one to track my daily calorie intake, one to track my goal weight and actual weight each week, and one to track my measurements (trying to get down to size 8-10). Fantabulous!!
One thing I'm a little concerned about: How do you people drink 8 glasses of water a day? I've been trying and it's so hard!! Any tips?

Hi, Welcome and congratulations on your new freedom out of your wheelchair. You must feel wonderful. To tell you the truth, about the water thing, I DON'T!
I have lost 39.5lbs since Jan 12th, and I can tell you I do not drink any where near that much water. I know alot of people might boo at me, but I have never been one to be able to drink alot of fluids, never have, never will.
As far as it being instrumental in weight loss, maybe for some people it is essential, but it is not in my case. I am living proof, I have lost without drinking much water at all.
I do drink tea, some ice tea, some water, and some diet lemonade, but only 3-5 serving a day, not 8-10 glasses.
I recently read an article, that dieters can now count ANY liquids, except alcohol, towards their water count, it has been working for me, so I guess everyone is different.
