Can we come up with 100 diet tips?

OK I'm obviously obsessed with the 100 number LOL
I thought it would be nice to gather all the diet & exercise tips & tricks that we have in one thread. It will help us learn from each other and it can offer a good guide for new members as well.
I'll open:
1. Take small steps instead of trying to change all your life at once. This way it's less likely for you to get overwhelmed.

13. When a snack attack hits, try brushing your teeth (a full two minutes) instead. Often, the craving goes away...
(Have you noticed that the Motivation 100 was easier????)
14. don't skip meals, it will only make you blow it later on.
15. stressed or angry? use it as a motivator to get moving.. take your frustrations out with exercise (always works when I'm po'ed at my bf)

16. Use leftover chicken or lean beef and lots of veggies to make soup to keep on hand. It makes a great lunch, is relatively low in calories, and helps stretch your dollar. Add some taco seasoning and you have tortilla soup.
17. If you feel a chocolate craving coming up, try some hot cocoa (with unsweetened cocoa and add artificial sweetener.. you can use skimmed milk too)... this works especially well
18. If you really like the crunch of chips with a sandwich, try switching to triscuits (rosemary and olive oil are my favorite) or another whole grain cracker. For about the same amount of calories as one serving of chips, you get less than half the fat and plenty of fiber. They stick with you longer, too.
19. This is going to sound crazy, but as you cook dinner, try to clean as you go. I'm always hungry by then and will try to sample or nibble if not otherwise occupied. Then I wait to put leftovers away until my brain has had a chance to catch up to my full stomach.
21. snack on baby carrots
22. keep veggies cut up in the fridge to eat
23. keep fruit cut up in the fridge
24. chew sugarless gum or suck on sugar free candy
25. the homemade soup is a great one. i boil up some chicken and then put the whole pot with chicken and broth in the fridge over nite then make the soup up the next day after skimming off any fat. (speaking of which i havent made it in two weeks. maybe thats my problem lately)
thats a quarter of the way to 100 hope it helps reach the goal
26. Chocolate fix: sugar-free Fudgesicle, or diet Canfield's chocolate soda.
27. Mexican food fix: taco salad with LOTS of lettuce, lots of tomatoes/salsa, and a tiny portion of beef or beans and cheese. (About 1/3 the calories of one burrito and much more satisfying)
28. Don't mistake boredom for hunger. Do you really want that vending-machine snack, or just the walk to the machine? (Often guilty of this myself >-)
29. Don't mistake thirst for hunger. Would iced tea (unsweetened) or WATER hit the spot instead of food? (Often guilty of this one as well)
30. Aversion therapy as a last resort. (Stop here to avoid a gross-out!
But the bubbles in Pepsi are really bugs, did you know?)
31. Take a moment when cooking or before eating a plate food, to look for a way to cut the fat or calories. Exp. When making a sandwich, use mustard instead of mayo. At a resturant ask them to serve the food with out frenchfries or a potato, and order a side salad with lite dressing or vinegar and oil.
These little changes add up real fast to weight loss.
