feel about dieting? Is it hard for you? It is mentally difficult for me!

What sort of diets are all of you on? What is working best for you?

Are you rewarding yourself for goals achieved? Do you set small goals or just the one big one?

I agree.. journaling can make a huge difference. Even if you don't meet your goal of 1,400 calories at first, it does make you conscious of what you're eating and many times it stops you from mindless munching and eating food just because its there.

you are so right!! i haven't met my goal yet, but i can see where i need to make the changes. and since i've already cut out a lot of calories, i can just imagine what my intake was before i started counting!! and journaling is helping me not do so much mindless munching. i can pass up the one or two cookies that were so innocent before. i don't want them now because i don't want to have to write them down, figure out the calories, etc. so it is helping in little ways too!
