How did you decide on your target weight? Doc told me to lose 70 lbs. which would put me at 199. I decided if I could do that, I'd just go to something considered "normal". I weighed 160 in college and was probably 40 pounds overweight then. Kind of an arbitrary way to pick it, but didn't have a better idea. What about you?

i chose 200 lbs as my "target weight" becuase at that weight i look "healthy".. still a little plump but not too skinny..
i would be overjoyed if i could get below that but i'd be happy w/ 200

I looked pretty good at 170-180 but I would like to be 160 which is the top side of what is considered a healthy weight for me. Right now my goal is just to get below 220 though cuz I haven't seen 220 in 6 years.

I set my target to 165 because I looked good when I was in the 160's (although back then I thought I was overweight). According to BMI I should be at 150 maximum. But I don't see this happening.
Anyways, for now my goal is to reach 165, but I'll see how I look along the way and change the goal weight accordingly (either up or down). I want to be a size 10.. I'll take any weight that puts me there.
When I used to go to Weight Watchers they had a chart by height and 150 is like tops for 5'6" so I decided that is my 'ultimate' goal for now (lol) I would really like to weigh 140 I weight 130 in high school and for awhile after but had to work out too much to keep that now.
