Scale conflict?

The lady that weighs me at my doctors office says that their scale weighs me in at 307 lbs. My scale at home is accurate to about 350 pounds give or take. When I weighed myself after DD was born it said 315 then 312 then would fluctuate between the 2. That was almost

I just decided to pick a scale and stick with that one as much as possible. Even the good scales like the doctors have can show a difference in weight. I use the one at the gym and call it good. It might be off by a pound or two, but my goal is to see it move down. As long as it keeps doing that, life is good!

My scale at my doctors is ALWAYS about 5 poundshigher then mine at home. I take into account that at home, I weigh myself first thing in the am and totally naked. At the doctors, I am fully clothes and have usually eaten something. And when I used to attend WW meeting, that was another story entirely.

I know it is frustrating, but just pick one, and use that as your weight. I use the home one becasue it is the one I use consistantly.

The scale at one of my doctor's offices is 5 pounds heavier than mine and the other is 7! I just decided to stick to my scale at home and not worry too much about the other ones. Although, it matches the one at my friend's doctor's office. I guess it just goes to show how different they can all be.

Well I agree with everyone about picking a scale and sticking to it, but the neat thing for me is usually my dr. office says the same as mine does. I weighed with just a tshirt on at home and fully clothed with shoes at the dr. THAT makes me feel good. Of course if it went up I would feel bad...LOL. I say stick with your scale at home and as long as it is moving down, the one at the dr. should too. THat is still success.

Ditoo, ditto, ditto!

I chose my own scale, as I liked seeing that number go down more often, weighing in naked first thing in the morning, etc. I also make sure to keep my scale in the same spot, or it will give me different numbers! (Although that could be handy this week, when I've actually gone UP 4 lbs...)

Seriously, I loved what everyone had to say! I think since I weigh at home once or twice a week and at the doc every great once in a while that I will happily stick with my at home scale (which said 293 today btw! down from 312 after dd was born) Its actually a weight watchers scale and that's why its accurate to a larger weight. Anyway I feel better now because I can start charting my weight again without feeling like I'm lying about something! lol Now I'm going to adjust my weight loss ticker accordingly! yay!

thank's for letting me know i'm not crazy!cause i notice the doctor's office scale is never ,ever the same as mine.so i try not to weigh myself at home and go by the way my clothes feel on me cause scales drive me out of my mine espicially when i know my clothes have gotten looser but yet the scale has'nt moved.so your better than me cause you actually still look at the scale.i refused !it's to frustrating!
