Weekends vs. Weekdays

Do you find it easier to stay on track during the week, then on weekends?

I find I have to be more careful on the weekends because if we are out & about, it's not like I can throw a lean cuisine lunch in the microwave and know that I am staying the course.

Must be why I weigh myself Saturday mornings;) That was if I do screw up over the weekend, I have all week to get back on track.

Any thoughts?

ABSOLUTELY, I am so glad I am not the only one. All my family wants to do is eat out. I told them it was limited to 2 nites a month from now on. For money sake and my weight's sake...LOL But still when everyone is home I find my nerves more on edge and the thought of turning to food to calm them more. 4 kids a dog and a cat all in a very small house can be quite nerve racking.

Actually its a mixture for me. I find it easier to drink all of my water during the week at work, but I always have the urge to munch. But on the weekends Im so busy I almost dont have time to really eat much at all, which means that I dont drink my water either!

I'm with qwright

I can drink all of my water while I'm at work, but they always tempt me with eating out, or muching on the snacks they bring in.
when I'm at home I can make something healthy, but I totally blow my water consumption

It's the same here. We tend to eat take out food on the weekends. I have mentioned to my bf that this does not help my diet. He's not very helpful or supportive but he understands I want to be healthier. He just doesn't want me to get skinny. So I watch what I order, instead of going along with what they want.

Weekends are just horrible, horrible, horrible days for my eating. At work I am usually very busy and I don't really think about food. But at weekends, I'm either home (eating), or at my in-laws (eating again), or at my parents (guess what? eating). Or we'll be out all day

Ugh- great question!

Weekends have been tough for me. During the week, it's garden/work/school/study/bed, very regimented and easy to stick to plan (as long as I've done all the grocery shopping beforehand). On weekends, it's nibble-nibble-nibble, breakfast-lunch-dinner out, and omigod, sooo many weddings this year. Must have brunch-lunch-dinner and cake and champagne! Can't be the skeleton at the feast! (Although that's not a real worry for at least 150 lbs LOL.)

I'm even bad about exercise on the weekends, when it seems like it should be easier with more "free" time. I think the computer sucks some of it away (time, not flab)... keyboard aerobics, anyone? I need a PLAN... some day in the not-too-distant future.
