Nothing like starting over...

DH took the kids away for the weekend and instructed me to spend the time taking bubble baths and eating bon bons. I'm sad to say that I took his advice and totally blew my whole week of being good. So today, with renewed determination, I'm starting all over again. Journaling, portion sizes, and ESPECIALLY drinking enough water. I'm trying not to beat myself up too much though, because it was a great weekend--the first time I've had a whole 24-hour period to myself since before I got married and had the boys!
Wish me luck!

OMG, I would kill for a weekend like that!!!
Good luck, but I can tell you are already back on track and that is what is important.

Wow!! A whole 24 hrs to yourself.....heaven! I'm glad you enjoyed yourself. Today is a new day. You needed that break. Don't beat yourself up.
Luck!
Starting over can be great; renewed enthusiasm and all that jazz. Your weekend sounds like it was truly blissful!

PS--You just reminded me of another "why I want to lose weight": to be able to get into (and out of) a bubble bath without posing a hazard!
What a weekend!! Husband free AND kids free.. WOW!!
Don't worry about it.. you indulged a little and you so deserve it. The important thing is that you're back on track after having a wonderful treat. Do you have that fresh feeling and motivation and fire to start again?? I have that and it feels great!!
*hugs* for having an awesome weekend and *hugs* for making the choice to keep going in the right direction!
I don't believe in "slips" or "cheats" or "mess ups" what you did was choose to enjoy yourself for the first time in a long time and you will have those in your future as well. So I hope you enjoyed every bite :) and now that you are choosing to make the right choices again - it is a great accomplishment on re-learning how to eat. We CAN have some of the bad stuff, so long as we learn to choose the good stuff on a regular basis.
