Okay, so like others here, I totally feel off the band wagon. Eating and eating, even though I wasn't hungry. Like seriously, stuffing my face. Feeling bloated, and everything. Well, get on the scale today, and I have lost 2 pounds....I feel like I busted my butt at the gym all those weeks past and really didn't lose anything. But here I am now, not eating good food, not going to the gym, and I lose. I just don't get it! Why can't it just be 1200 calories, exercise and you lose weight. I really think before though I wasn't eating enough calories, which really DID put me in stravation mode. I was working out about 1 and a half hours a day, 5 days a week, and I wasn't eating hardly anything. So anyways, I am back to the gym today, but I think I am going to try to NOT work out as hard. So hopefully I can figure out how to get the weight loss going again soon!!!! Sheesh! Hope everyone has a great monday!

I did that too. I was hardly eating anything and I GAINED 5 lbs. I was so mad that the day I weighed I ate everything in sight and kept eating right but over my calories for a week and I lost 7 lbs. My husband(Dr) said that eating too few calories will cause you to gain weight too. I don't know how much you weigh but I am 231 and he said that I need to stay around 1300 calories a day because my resting metabolism is 1400. So with exercise at 13oo a day I should lose rather rapidly or steadily. If you have a Chiropractor or Physical therapist nearby who has a BIA machine it would be worth it to have the test ran. All they do is hook up little pads to your foot and hand and it takes about a minute. It can tell you your metabolic rate, how much water you retain and a lot of other valuable info to help with weight loss. It should not cost that much either. Like $20.00. It has really helped me. It can also tell you how much fat you have lost and water etc. Which is really motivating when you see that you have lost 10lbs and 7 of that was fat. Just a suggestion. hope it helps...

I was there before so I now exactly how you're feeling.

I don't have an explanation, but I know our bodies don't work like calculators and it will be frustrating to assume they do. If you've been doing the same exercise and staying within the same calorie range, your body
