Just wanted to post and say hi and re-introduce myself. I joined this board around this time last year and loved it, and will very soon be on the weight loss bandwagon, yet again! I am 9 months pregnant, due 5/17, but quite possibly being induced by the end of the week. I'm already looking ahead to the time when I will be getting back to my old eating habits and losing weight. I know that if I don't get back quickly, I may never make it. I've now gained 35 lbs with this pregnancy, which is A LOT more than I was hoping for, but 20 of it has been in the past 6-8 weeks alone. I have a ton of swelling and have big scale jumps every week, no matter how much or little I eat, so I'm thinking (praying, LOL) that most of it's water weight. Right now I'm at about 283 and hope to be down to 225 by the beginning of October. A very ambitious goal, but, since the docs estimated that the baby will be over 9 lbs if I go full term, then I'm figuring I'll lose 20 lbs very quickly, if not 30 from the water weight, too.
Well, that's about all I have for now, except to say that in the past few weeks my healthy eating habits have gone out the window and I've been indulging in corn dogs and french fries and it's going to be hard to give those up, so I'm going to need tons of support :).

Oh the joy of a newborn. Good luck in delivery and God help ya if this one is over 9 lbs...LOL!! Just so you know both my last were estimated at over 9 lbs and both weighed 8.5. Good luck giving up the corn dogs and fries too. Hope to see ya again soon.

And Staci is back too!!!! Wohooooooo
I am so glad that you're pregnancy is going well. You suddenly disappeared on us a while ago and with all the ladies I know getting intro pre-term labour, I didn't know what to think. I am so happy that you're doing OK.
Induction? I did that
I am so ready to pop this kid out!!! LOL! I think I gained another 5 lbs yesterday alone, though, because my swelling more than doubled in my feet and hands, but, thankfully, no high blood pressure or anything, so the doctor isn't too worried. I lurk on the WW board, but don't post there too often because I've never *officially* joined/done WW, even though the plan I follow is basically WW. These 9 months have flown by, but I can't wait to have my legs back to normal, because those have always been the 1 feature I've always liked! Hopefully only another day or two :).

Do you know what you are having yet?
We are having a girl, going to name her Kylie Allison. I am definitely planning on breastfeeding for a multitude of reasons, but the whole burning extra calories thing is a definite plus :). I do know that some women don't tend to lose while B/Fing, and hopefully that won't happen to me, but if it does, I'll just have to re-evaluate my goals. But, I figure since pre-pregnancy I could eat around 1500 cal/day and lose about 2-3 lbs a week, I should be able to eat 1800-2000 while b/f and lose the same. It'll be kind of nice because that gives me a lot more leeway in what I can eat and I won't feel deprived at all :). I know they recommend you don't go below 1800 cal/day while breastfeeding and I think WW may even give up to 10 extra points a day for that.
