My personal goal for today....
| Wed, 05-10-2006 - 8:37am |
Today, I am going to drink at least 3 liters of water. I don't like water, don't like to drink water, and have normally been drinking only about 1 1/2 liters a day. Today, however, all that changes and I WILL drink at least 3 liters. So far, I've already had 1/2 liter and have started on my 2nd bottle. Wish me luck, everyone!

Hi Mary! My goal for today is another 3 liters of water. I'm hoping I can make this an everyday thing and eventually work my way up to 4 liters or more. Right now I'm just enjoying my time away from the gym, 'cause my arm should be OK next week (it's still pretty painful, but at least I have feeling in my fingers again lol). Oddly enough, and I've posted on this before, I've actually lost MORE weight this week w/ not going to the gym, so I think maybe on the days I work out I'm not eating enough. I'm going to try and figure out where I can add another mini-meal to my day, but quite honestly, I don't see where I can do it. So far this is what I'm eating:
Breakfast: 1 whole wheat waffle w/ fresh peaches and a cup of skim milk.
Snack @ 10 am: 2 hardboiled eggs
Lunch @ 12: 1/2 whole wheat pita bread with 1 tbsp of hummus (I LOVE hummus), with veggies or a serving of V8 juice (a lot of sodium, I know)
Snack @ 2 or 3: fat free yogurt and OJ
Dinner @ 7: chicken and brown rice w/ steamed veggies or a SMALL amount of pasta with veggies, basalmic vinegar, and just a touch of olive oil
Snack: fat-free pudding cup and a cup of skim milk.
I've lost 3 1/2 lbs so far this week (yay me!), but I'm worried that once I start working out again, I'll actually gain weight back, 'cause that's what happened last week. Any suggestions?
How often do you work out? I don't see where you can add another mini meal either but maybe you can add an extra serving of veg or fruit to 1 of your existing meals Or maybe you can cut back on exercise a notch for a little while? I don't know what to tell you honestly but these are just some suggestions that popped into my head.
