Well I bought a new scale. And it shows that I am 5 lbs heavier then the old one. So starting Monday I will be using the number from the new scale. I feel like I am starting all over again. And I really need to

Hey there.....

I just wanted to encourage you to get someone to measure you from head to toe and start a journal or spreadsheet with dates and measurements and areas.

From my own experience, I found the encouragement in the measurement from the inches lost from my body when I first joined Curves in January rather trying to 'tame' the scale monster. It was very confusing to me at first, the doctor's office scale said one thing, Curves scale said 1 thing, my home scale said 1 thing! Gee, it was blindsiding me from my original goal to get fit...you know what I mean!

I have not weighed myself in months because I use the above method and I know when I finally decide to hop on the scale that it will line up with my new size that I am wearing.

It was illumination for me to see the measuring tape match with the fact that I needed new undergarments or my pants were slidding off my waist.

So if you have not already done the measuring, I would like to encourage you to do that. Get someone you feel comfortable with, get into some skimpies and measure away.

Soon you will have lost inches off your waist, your thighs and your legs.......

You are a winner regardless of the monster scale!!

Thank you for the advice, I'm gonna do that. I can tell I lost inches, my pants are getting loose. And the other week when I drove my bf's truck I did not have move the seat back. I could drive at his setting without the steering wheel rubbing my belly.
