Need some encouraging words

I went to mother in laws house I did good there I passed up the
brownies cake taters mac n cheese ect I ate chicken and greenbeans
But hours later when we got home my hubby said the words pizza and
next thing you know I was on the phone ordering.I ate 3 big peices
and 2 cookies and 1/2 glass of mountain dew thats a wopping 1200-1400
calories which still puts me under 2000 calories but I ate this after
hours 10:30 to be exact.
I did walk 2 miles at a fast pace before I ate!
Anyway I am so mad at myself and I will definately be back on track from
here on out!!I have never felt this guilty.It was a comination of things
that made me cave 1 was hubby he is always walking around saying he is
hungry and what to eat( he weighs 100 lbs less than me can eat whatever
he wants and not gain a lb)another reason I havent had a pizza(from a
pizza place) or mountain dew in over 5 weeks!!!
Anyway no more exuces time to get butt in gear!!!Any1 else have a bad
weekend or day?

You did a great job at your MIL's house and you should be proud of that. And way to go with that walking!


Put the pizza mess behind you. I will not tell you to forget it though...

Thank you every1. I know what I did and I know I need to wait
2 weeks before another treat day.I swear it is so mental at times
it eats at ya until you give in.Next time I feel like that I will
try hopping on here and start posting instead of after it happeneds.
I did wake up and (late wake up)had a bannanah and a turkey wrap
on wheat shell!!I feel alot better today no more pizza for a while.

try not to be too rough on yourself or DH.

my DH is the same way, he weighs about 160 lbs and some days he eats very little, other days he can eat 2x what i can. his favorite food is pizza and popcorn w/ extra butter.

tomorrow will be a better day..

Hey, I totally understand where you're coming from. I just left a post for Angela saying how I never have the nerve to come post my mistakes on here. Especially since I was doing so well! I need to learn to let go of that. This weekend was pretty bad for me too. I ate lots of Mexican food, pizza, grilled cheese (w/ LOTS of velveeta), cake, soda. I had one good meal on Friday night, and then I blew it after that. Don't know why in the world that has to happen!! I agree that we just need to pick up and keep going. I'll be in Galveston at a conference with DH the rest of this week so its gonna be hard. I'm really going to try this time though. I can eat things that taste good that are still good for me! We plan to do alot of swimming too. Anyway, I wanted to say thanks for your post. It really helped me to admit some things to myself. I know you're going to do great! I just want to encourage you to really go for it this week...we'll do this!!

The thing too is, even EXPERTS say, its better to treat yourself every once in awhile. I try not to feel guility. If I am craving ice cream, I have just a few pieces of those dibs. Its better to take care of the craving then have it, and eventually overindulge on it. Just try to get back on point, and take the journey in stride. Its not a point a to point b journey. There are side tracks, and pit stops, and wrong ways along the way! Just try to keep your end goal in sight, and its sounds like you are doing better! Good luck!!
